Good news and Bad news

First the Bad news. We're delaying the release of A Kiwi Century On the Mat, our feature-length documentary on the history of professional wrestling for a year.

Why? While we could have gotten it done for the Film Festivals in 2010, it would've been rushed and it wouldn't have been complete in our minds. Also, we really want to get to the United States and the islands in 2010 to talk on camera to some more of those wrestlers: kiwis and others, who've been such an exciting part of this story. So that's the good news, somehow (and we don't quite know how yet) we'll be heading off-shore next year to interview some of the greats who have passed through New Zealand to get their take on professional wrestling in our little country.

There's a whole list of names, indeed some of the biggest that we want to talk to and we've already made contact with a couple of them so cross your fingers for us!

We'll continue to update this website regularly as we talk to more and more people, and with that in mind, here is a grab from IPW's 'The Deal' Dal Knox recorded at Armageddon in Wellington earlier this year:
